The Health of Older Adults
in King County

Communities Count is excited to share the recent release of the Health of Older Adults in King County Chart Pack—a data resource that sheds light on the health, well being, needs, and strengths of older residents in our community.

This chart pack developed by Public Health—Seattle & King County offers a comprehensive overview of how local older adults, broadly defined as those aged 65 and older, are doing across indicators of social determinants of health, health care access, chronic disease, and end-of-life outcomes.

You can view and download the chart pack here.

The data in this chart pack are intended to be a starting place for understanding the health, well-being and supports older adults in our community need to live healthy, fulfilling lives.

Local data is key to planning, evaluating, and funding programs that serve our communities and promote equity. Our goal is to make data accessible to everyone who cares about health equity in King County.
