King County maps strategy to reach the uninsured.

Kaiser Health News, in partnership with The Seattle Times, outlines what King County health officials are doing to identify areas of the county with high concentrations of residents with no health insurance. In some parts of the county, almost one third of adults are uninsured.  In compliance with the federal Affordable Care Act, education and outreach efforts with target places with the highest concentrations of uninsured residents. Read story here.  According to data posted on Communities Count, adults in SeaTac are 8 times more likely than those in Sammamish to lack health insurance.
